We determined that while the existing substructure was in good condition, it needed to be shored up, adding additional joists to ensure its structural integrity. Given she had already spent money on another contractor who failed at the job, we recommend Trex Enhance line of decking for a cost-effective solution to complete her beautiful balcony. After shoring up the substructure and properly installing the decking boards, we put the finishing touches on the balcony to ensure safety with the Preferred Aluminum Georgian Railing in the color black.
